I am an economic and development geographer with teaching and research interests in agricultural development and food security, development policy and management, sustainability, poverty and inequality assessments, technology adoption and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). My regional focus is Sub-Saharan Africa (with extended experience in Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Malawi and Zambia). My latest research investigates the potentials and shortcomings of agricultural impact investments for sustainable development.
