Capstone

The M.A. International Development Studies (IDS) Program's Capstone projects allow students to engage in a real-world development consultancy which provides invaluable professional experience and networking opportunities. Course taught includes 1-credit pre-Capstone in Fall semester and 3-credits Capstone in Spring semester.

Graduate seminar for second-semester International Development Studies M.A. students at the Elliott School of International Affairs of George Washington University, Washington D.C. Co-taught in Spring 2018, 2020-22 with Dr. Christina Fink, and with Dr. Sean Roberts in Spring 2019 and 2020.

 

Computer game “An unexpected challenge”

Development Project implementation

Graduate seminar for M.A. students at the George Washington University. Developed initially during Spring 2021 to provide opportunity in Summer 2021 for students to experience project implementation after their travel abroad was cancelled due to the global pandemic. Includes innovative teaching practices, e.g., computer game programmed by self called “An unexpected challenge”. Course usually offered in Summer II sessions.

Graduate seminar for first-semester International Development Studies M.A. students at the Elliott School of International Affairs of George Washington University, Washington D.C. Co-taught in Fall 2018 with Dr. Sean Roberts.
